Lt. Gov. Win Rockefeller, who recently returned to Arkansas after unsuccessful treatment in Seattle for a disorder that can lead to leukemia, was in a hospital intensive-care unit Tuesday with complications from pneumonia, a source told The Associated Press.

Rockefeller, 57, who quit this year's governor's race after being diagnosed last year with myeloproliferative disorder, had two bone marrow transplants through Seattle's Cancer Care Alliance on Oct. 7 and March 29.

Both failed to adequately treat the disorder and Rockefeller returned to Arkansas on Saturday.

A source close to the Rockefeller family said the lieutenant governor was in an intensive care unit room at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences after suffering complications due to pneumonia.
