Juan also suggested that Israel should be negotiating with Hezbollah and Hamas rather than attempting to destroy them. (Even Mara called him on his nonsense). And his comment that Israel's actions have been ego-related ("this is all about them trying to act 'manly'") could very well be the most brain-dead statement he's ever made. ....no small accomplishment.

Could it be that the presence of Brit and the likelyhood of a smackdown for any stupid statements acts as a governor on Juan's mouth?  The man does seem to make his stupidest statements in forums where Brit is not present.

It's kind of like how you automatically guard your language when your parents are around.

Good point. ....could very well be the case. Kristol and Barnes voiced exceedingly polite responses to Juan's insane ramblings this morning, and it appeared to just encourage him.

#510, that is a great point. I like that thinking, it is like a catchy Cole Porter tune that keeps running around in your head. I always think of a Governor that a Dad would install on the family car when he lets his teenage son use it, and wants to see the Car again in one piece. Daddy Brit is the Governor for Wayward Teenager Juannnie(whiney) Williams. Great thinking.....When I was a kid they pronouced it "Guv a Noor", I have no clue why, it was just they way they thought then I guess.
