I agree!

If the doves were correct saying nuclear war (at least limited) would waste a land unliveable for gazillion years, what to they say about Hirosima and Nagasaki today?

If Israel were nuclear attacked, what are the prevailing winds? I don't know what the fallout pattern. I know the mid-East Arabs do! Or would they care?

Exactly my FRiend. The rebuilding and prosperity of Hiroshima and Nagasaki puts the lie to the BS in "On The Beach", if our wayward nuclear-scaredy-cat wants to read a book that is far more rooted in fact, they should check out "Alas Babylon" by Pat Frank.

As for the winds and how it would affect the local Arab population, this might be a major economic opportunity for some entreprenuerial type to sell bumper stickers for camels that say "I Glow For Allah".
