Sadly, I believe you are correct.
Hannity and Bill O'Reilly would say that some people are "war weary"...I have heard them both use that as a reason for the polls that come out saying that less and less people are wanting us to stay in Iraq.
Well...too bad---we can sit in our homes..or go to our jobs..and get "war weary" but what about the troops that have to fight..no matter how weary they are..
And what about the people in these countries..especially Israel..that have had to live with "war" for decades??
to be honest, right after 9/11, the message to americans should not have been "go about your daily lives, shop and spend money". there needed to be more of an attempt to connect americans to this struggle. not people like us, we are plugged in. and certainly those in the military, national guard, and their families, who are directly involved - are plugged in. but the generic sheeple are not - their only reality is what goes on in their daily lives everyday.
