Lebanon. We have at least 25,000 people there. Not all will want to leave but some do. Syria will not let Americans in, so State is either negotiating with them or formulating a plan to get them across the fire zone to a port so the marines can chopper them to Cyprus and they can fly out on their own.

Local news reporting on a 20 year old girl who has been visiting a friend in Lebanon. Her mother was on the news saying she had lost contact with her a couple of days ago. She does not have her passport number (which is apparently a huge mistake per the State Dept.) The mother bought the ticket for the girl and I kind of got the impression that the dad (parents divorced)is really angry at the mom because the press could not get him to comment on the situation.
