Because I wouldn't put it past the NYT to put on their web site that our Marines will be landing on the roof of such and such a hotel at a certain time.
You're thinking is just fine. Actually, it will be extremely difficult to keep the media from interviewing Americans holed up in hotels and getting any rescue information out of them.
I pray the State Dept. is telling people not to talk to anyone they don't know and including the media.
I would bet that they'd have a camera man filming the event from the terrorists "perspective". Hell, I'll go one step further....I think they'd help the terrorists fire on Iraelis or our own soldiers if given the opportunity.
