There was a rumor a few days ago about a three-member "emergency government" being installed - Olmert, Bibi, and one other guy who I can't think of at the moment.

Well i hope they implement it b/c a strike on a Beruit power station is an insufficient reponse to these attacks (for the record i know the response will be harsher than that, its just that i don't think Olmert alone will do what's necessary). I apologize, but i am good and worked up about this. People, do some research on Olmert and his family, half of them (particularly one of his daughters) are the equivalent of extereme Berkley liberals.

Is there something wrong with FNC, or is it just my tv?

There's no pressing need for a national unity government at this point. Israel is hardly facing desperate circumstances. The war is being taken directly to the enemy and the aim is to break his will to fight. Israel is acting methodically with its Air Force to deprive the enemy of new supplies and reinforcements from the outside along with degrading his command, control and communication capabilities. Israel is also making it difficult for the enemy to reach the front lines. After Hezbollah has been cut down to size, Israel will intervene on as a needed basis with its ground forces to go after specific targets and then get back out. It will be a long campaign.
