CO Northern Command: heavy bombardment to begin in southern Lebanon





In an interview to a northern Israel radio station, the head of IDF Northern Command, Maj. Gen. Udi Adam, said that "Sunday morning, we told residents of southern Lebanon to evacuate their towns, as we intend to begin a heavy bombardment in the area." (Hagai Einav)

Give me a break, there needs to be a call for an emergency govt., Olmert does not have what it takes to see this conflict thru to the end. Any other confirmation about another attack on the way?

His words posted by Karl earlier gave me concern about his leadership. But what do I know about being a president or prime minister, etc during wartime? He doesn't sound like a "cowboy". Guess I am wanting a Gen Patton type.
