Take yourself out of the box and look at this from the perspective of the other side. Played properly, this story can be turned into a weapon to attack McFarland's integrity.

Imagine, for example, how we would play it if this was Hillary and her father and brother came out calling her a liar.

I agree that she should have "run on the issues," but she chose not to, and now it's come back to bite her.

The whole thing is pathetic. It would be funny if it wasn't:

1. Making the Republican Party look like the party of nutbars;
2. Giving us six more years of Hillary!; and
3. Bestowing a degree of legitimacy on Hillary! since she's able to win elections.

Again, the best word I can use is "pathetic." What a shambles. She's very beatable, and these clowns are the best we can do?
