Just a quick update. My brother is being transferred M.D. Anderson this Thursday. The doctors said that he will be "well" enough to make the trip.

The doctors have been scanning him for what seems like day and night, and have put him through a battery of tests. Unfortunately, they say the cancer may have spread all the way up to his lungs (they found suspicious "modules"), but they don't want to say for sure; e.g. they want the specialist in M.D. Anderson to confirm. The doctors did say that he was lucky that they caught it now because they say that the cancer appears to have spread aggressively and in one to two months his chances of survival would have very low.

It may not seem like it, but it is good news. They'll take care of him at MD Anderson, very very well. Cancer is all they do - work on, observe, operate on, treat, caretake. They've seen it all and will know exactly what needs to be done.

That really *is* good news. Prayers continuing ...
