Isn't there a closer association between Armageddon and Joel 3? The way I interpret it (no expert by any means) is the battle in Ezekiel takes place first and then followed in seven years by Armageddon, which would be the battle mentioned in Joel 3???? What I find chilling is this is all so close to 2012 which keeps popping up at the "end of times" or the beginning of the end of the world as we currently know it...
I don't worry about endtime scenarios (i.e., the order that events have to take place) as much as some people do...was reading it and it popped out at me...as have some of the passages in Zechariah...
