Thanks. I've been wrong plenty of times and am hoping I've got it wrong here too. It can be unsettling to try to put yourself in the shoes of powerfully disturbed people with powerful weapons. It is indeed scary. I once had to deal with an ill family member who was lapsing into psychosis and would not seek treatment for his condition. It was an experience that lasted for months and I won't easily forget it.
When I saw the bootleg video of the Iranian President sitting on the floor during that supposedly private meeting with some clerics after the UN speech, and he was describing how the assembled heads of state had descended into an unblinking trance for over 20 minutes while he delivered the message of God, and that an aura of light had surrounded him while he spoke, I saw the look on his face when he was describing the experience. And I said to myself . . .
I'm not a doctor, but I know that look.
