Unrelated, but I'm skeptical of these breathless news reports of how the G-8 has been completely derailed by all this. Certainly its a bit topic, but I cringe to think that the world's leaders can't multi-task even a little bit.

I am sure it's a matter of discussion, but they have business to attend to plus they all have people. It probably dampened the cocktail party before dinner however. Most reporters are idiots, after all what do they do? The observe, they don't take part. Where's Steve Harrigan and his crazy cameraman when we need him?

I have been ticked off at all of the reporters and pundits questioning whether it is the right thing to do for Bush to stay there or come home...
BUT, if he were to come home...John F'n Kerry and others would be telling him he needs to "meet with other world leaders"..
