Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame have run into a bit of bad luck in their lawsuit against Dick Cheney, Scooter Libby, Karl Rove, and ten random Republicans. CQ reader Denis K took a peek at the complaint and noticed something that I had missed earlier -- the judge assigned to the case. Wilson and Plame drew Judge John D. Bates -- and a quick glance at his rulings will no doubt have the Left fuming.

You said: They'll probably try for a change of venue or a new judge. I'd love to see 'em get stuck with Bates though!

I don't think the plaintiffs can change venue, since they chose it in the first place. They COULD dismiss and refile, hoping for another judge, I guess.
As others have said, I think they just want the notoriety that this kind of case brings.
Maybe they think their publicity will also help the Democrats in 2006. Joe Wilson is waaaaaayyyyy delusional and he thinks he is important enough to sway a bunch of congressional elections.
I donated 1 cent to them, on that site, using a creditcard. The transaction processing cost for them should be about 35 cents netting them a 34 cent loss for my donation. I'm more than willing to help them pick up some more donations like that so I encourage everyone to help with a penny. LOL
I think you posted the wrong link to Judge Bates. The link you provided shows a man named Beverly Rezneck.
The good judge is about to be vilified and slimed like nothing he's ever seen.
This case will go down in flames faster than Monica did to Bill. :)
What a 'flippin cheapskate you are! I donated .03.
I'm hoping I get on a junk mail mailing list with lots of prepaid mailing envelopes. I have got it down to a science on packing those envelopes with as much scrap paper as possible and sending back...
This sweet couple should be forced to pay ALL attorney fees when the case is thrown out.
Here's the link for others who would like help their cause...Wilson/PlameSCAM
I like putting about a pound of lead sheeting in the envelope and dropping it in the mail. That has to cost them a nice wad of money. LOL
I love the idea, but I don't think I trust these slimeballs with my CC #.
I know it's early but Beverly Rezneck is the photographer named by the photo of the good Judge. Duhhhhh!!!
Have you checked the price of lead, these days? :>)
Its also about getting money.

It's so outrageous what these two liars along with the crony DBM/dems have tried to do to this President. When will America start to hold these filthy, lying, traitors accountable?

Nina Easton on the FoxNews panel of Brit's show last night, made sure to get that web address on air during her opportunities to talk.
She is far more leftist and RAT operative that Mara, IMO.
