"Staff members say the odds or finding a half-and-half lobster are 1 in 50 million to 100 million. By comparison, the odds of finding a blue lobster are about 1 in a million."

Damn!!! I was just about to call my bookie in Vegas to put $100 on the half & half lobster odds.

Only could be evolution if there are particular gene(s) for it. If this is a protein coat deformity, (the protein coat on the outside of the chromosomes) that would not be inherited.

Lobster husband angry at wife went off half-baked before being captured by net. Film at eleven.

It wouldn't have to kill that side...just reach the temp in the shell that changes the chemistry.

Thanks!

At work I study some chromophores that could permit a vehicle to change colors to match its environment.

I did some work 20 years ago with a Dual Tex pattern, and by having some of the pixels able to change colors over time, you can change the pattern from a horizontal "Dune" pattern to match a vertical "Oasis".

Impossible things are always the most fun to demonstrate.
