Depends on who else is at the G8. If Putin's there and Ho it might be nice to have some good ole Texan face-to-face with them about what needs to be done.

I thought is was a bit strange, but (again, I hate to praise him) McCain handled that question well.

I have heard a few call for him to fly to Israel and show support.

But since they are discussing Iran at the G8, maybe he should put his 2 cents in first.

I would love if he gave a hardline speech of some sort, especially to remind the public of what Hezbolla did to our Marines in the 80s.

Col. Hunt has NOT acted like he is a fan of President Bush for a long time...in fact, there was a rumor, that he was signing on to be Hillary's military advisor...but, it doesn't look like it..LOL

I wondered if he was concerned about the safety of the President. I will be glad when he is back on our soil, but face time with Putin and others may be very important.

I think he's correct. Been wondering about that myself as the photo-opts have been taking place the past day or so... and especially since I believe Putin isn't going to do a thing to control Iran in this situation.

I used to absolutely just adore Col. Hunt, I mean swoon city .. then I learned that not too long ago he affiliated himself with SHE WHO WILL NOT BE NAMED as a military advisor. That colors everything he says now with me. I trust our President ...our relationship with Russia is even more critical now.
