I was pleased with McCain this morning also (rare event). He was on CNN and the anchorface (don't know the name) was trying hard to get him to criticize the President.
Anchor: 'SOME say that the President and administration have caused this problem in the Middle East (yeah right), because he's paid too much attention to the situation in Iraq. Do you agree?'
McCain refused to take the bait, in fact backed up the President all the way. The anchor was visibly disappointed. In fact, he said 'REALLY!' when McCain backed the administration, and promptly and huffily cut off the interview.
For one brief shining moment, I liked McCain.
Yeah I have been pleased with McCain today. Weird.
