Where Gog (Russia). They are not involved in this at all.
Yes, but if Israel extends it's strike zone to Syria, Iran, as promised, will get involved.
Then, if Israel starts hitting Iran, there's a possibility Russia will get involved because of their alliance. It may be just an economic alliance, but I have a feeling there's a little more to it than that.

Russia will get involved because of their alliance. The Russians aren't crazy. They know if they back Israel into a corner where its survival is at stake they run the risk of "the Motherland" being nuked (by Israel). Do you really think Russia would risk their own destruction because of some ridiculous "promise" they made to a bunch of lunatic Islamists? Not a chance. They'll stay out of it.

Doubt it. They haven't the stake they had during the cold war. And when they became involved, their pilots were shot out of the air just like the Syrians and Egyptians they were sitting in for. I doubt Iran would back Syria either. It's a death wish for them. Israel has total air superiority, and their ground forces, under air assault, reach Israel after traversing Iraq. With US permission.
The leverage Iran, Syria, and the Arab world have is leveraging opinion in the west. Strike fast and hard, and expect the US to call Israel off. And so far, it hasn't worked.
