All of God's blessings on you and your dear daughter and her family, Alouette.
An excellent suggestion..
Thanks. If there are no weights for bodybuilding, one can even lift boulders or other objects. ...with extra safety methods and precautions in case of slippage (wide, low stances, no direct overhead lifting, and the like), of course. ...5 sets of each exercise with 14 repetitions to warm-up and cool down (first and last lifts of each set), and fewer repetitions with heavier weights in the middle sets. Only do upper body every 3 days (instead of every two). ...same for lower body and abdominal. Let 'em build some muscle mass for further motivation. ...about two months to see the difference, if done at prescribed intervals. It works. I've done it. Do regular runs (fast walks for older folks). Jog in place, if you can't run distances outdoors.
Physical exercise is also a good way to eventually be more awake during studies. Sedentary teens and adults will get sleepy sooner during study periods.
Smaller children should do other, safer, more closely supervised, physical exercises to help teach them how to exercise later in life. The little ones naturally tend to move around much on their own. But should the monster under the bed arise in imaginations, humor in stories of imaginary, afraid, silly monsters can help. And for those who've neglected it and are commanded to do so, a new study and adherence to halacha can certainly help. [I am not commanded to do so but might study more and do more of what is permitted for me, as guided, in order to receive extra reward.]
Tell them the Holy One of Israel said so.
Tell them to bank on it!

I'm very happy that your family is safe. There is going to be a lot more danger in the area before the capabilities of the terrorists are eliminated and their masters are made to see the costs of this type of proxy war are too high for them.
How are they holding up? It can't be easy caring for two infants in these conditions. Continued prayers for their safety. Also prayers that the IDF/IAF makes quick work on taking out the trash.
In Florida, my kids and many children down here are still somewhat fearful of the subject of hurricanes. So many of us took up shelter in our own homes the past two years for some really major storms. They become very serious at a young age and listen intently now at any mention of a hurricane. They will ask now, "Is there a hurricane? Is it coming?"
At least you can see a hurricane coming at you.
Like you, I can't imagine what it must be like for our friends in Israel.
Prayers for their children and for all them fighting the beast in the Middle East.
You would think an 18-month-old doesn't know what's going on, NOT TRUE! He hears something outside go boom, and suddenly Mommy says they are going bye bye. He can sense that Mommy and Daddy are nervous and scared about something.
Suddenly he realizes that in the rush you forgot his favorite Blankie (Nonny, Sussy, Ticklish, Teddy, Sheepie, Ducky, Jingles, etc.)
OF COURSE it's perfectly natural for Daddy to run back, dodging bombs, to fetch the favorite security blanket/toy
Actually I was going to comment on the 18 month old, but you're up 5 kids on me, so I figured you already knew ;)
They sure do feel "the vibes". I thought forgetting "important things" on a camping trip was a disaster, but dodging rockets to get the stuff is almost insane...unless you're a parent. Hope they're able to keep you up to date. It's turning into a real mess out there. More for Lebanon, thankfully.
