Politically, they must condemn the attacks. If they supported them in any way it would start the "crusade" publicity by the Islamic pukes.
I understand that point .. but it's best if they said nothing at all, imo
Then why not condemn the attacks of Muslims on others.
Did the vatican make a statement about the Islamic terrorists who blew up the train in Indian, killing a couple hundred people?
Maybe they did, I don't know, it just seems to me that the world in general condemns attacks on Muslims, but not by Muslims.
The Vatican is an impotent as everyone else involved when it comes to fighting these Islamic basta*ds. Thank God, we have Bush in office. Can you imagine...what things would be like with Kerry or Gore... ?
I could not agree more.
The Church's actions and policies are not supposed to be dictated by world politics. The Church is to carry out God's will. They are supposed to act according to God's teachings, not man's.
......Politically, they must condemn the attacks."
You could be right, I hope so. I'm Catholic and I will back Israel 100% for fighting back. The Islamic terrorists have been terrorizing Israel way too long, in words and in deeds. When one has a bee constantly buzzing at you, you don't sit and take it, you get rid of it.
Nonsense...they should just say something about a hope that both sides make peace and leave it at that.
The Vatican forgot that what Isreal is doing is simply self defense, which is covered in the "just war theory".
