If anybody remembers the name "Aldrich Ames" ..?? There you have the SPY who outed Valerie and caused her to be called back to the States. It was more than 5 years after that time when Novak mentioned her name .. and she had NOT BEEN COVERT ALL THAT TIME.
IT WASN'T ANYBODY FROM THE BUSH ADMIN.
We need to be calling our radio and TV stations and asking them when they're going to report the rest of the story - that it was Aldrich Ames who outed Valerie. Of course, he also outed several other and some of them were killed.
If the judge has any brains, he'll fall out of his chair laughing .. and throw them out of court.

For over a year I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out who is the puppet master behind the CIA/State Department effort to torpedo Bush. First I thought the scheme was hatched by a CIA contingent which included Plame and that Wilson was the willing dupe.
Then I did an about-face and figured it must have been a State initiated scheme with Wilson at the heart of the cabal, and he used his conveniently placed wife at CIA to help make the "assignment" to Niger happen.
I am now slowly coming to the conclusion, however, that BOTH Wilson and Plame are the willing dupes of a group of much more devious people. Wilson and Plame are lightweights - - neither of those people are rocket surgeons, that's for sure. Wilson is the true buffoon here, and Plame is wondering what the heck did she get herself into? I think she can't sell her book (actually, Wilson's book with her name on it) because she won't spill the beans, the dirt, the juicy stuff. And she won't squawk because she still has a basic sense of loyalty to her image of what the CIA is supposed to be, ie., an intel operation working on behalf of America's national security rather than the political smear machine.
I believe that Wilson was launched by people at State, and those people at State are the wizards behind the curtain. Their mission is to do the dirty work that somebody like Madeline Albright would appreciate. Wilson and Plame were the perfect foils.
I am just waiting for the day that Plame wakes up and gives her idiot husband the heave-ho.
No lefty is going to believe anything Robert Novak says, and he hasn't even named Armitage as the leaker yet. I just want this idiot Wilson and his wife to be humiliated as the money and attention grubers they are.
Any idea what year that was published?
Rocket surgeons?
Is that anything like a brain scientist?

Valerie Plame suffered from Post Partum Depression a few years back. I hope she wasn't doing super important, top secret work for the CIA at about that time.
The lawsuit is just a ploy to keep their names in the news. They have a book to sell. No publicity is bad publicity.
I say it all backfires, though.
