She's a potential witness, and in building their own argument the writer had to rely on the word "could" two times.
The Gov't already has a proveable case when the--
"1st Lt. Ehren Watada...refused to deploy to Iraq on June 22 with his Stryker unit, the 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division based at Fort Lewis, about 50 miles south of Seattle."
I suspect our compassionate leader will issue a pardon for military personnel when he leaves office.
Watada joined the Army in March 2003
He might get 8 years and dishonorable discharge. That's it????? I think this guy should get life in jail because although I don't agree with the guys that are refusing to go who were in the military before we went to war, this (pick worst word possible...I can't tell him off since I am active duty and he is senior to me) joined as the war started. In one article he writes that he would be willing to go to Afganistan but will never go to Iraq....what military did he join that he thought he could pick and chose where to go....I pray he is found guilty and the sentence gets INCREASED!!!!
When will everyone get it through their heads that the constitution does not list or enumerate any rights by the press to any information. The constitution does not even say that they have the right to shield their sources.
