Guys - calm down - this is not the global firestorm some are pushing it to be. We are not on the brink, and neither is the middle east as long as our occupation force is in Iraq. We are a stabilizing force.

After 08 and significant troop draw-down, then we probably see Arab states jockeying for regional power, with Saudis and Turkey being caught in tension between West and Arab world.

Boy, aren't you the optimist. All this will take is some misstep by one side, if Syria/Iran/Israel lets loose a balistic missile then the genie is out of the bottle
