To calm things down Isreal should just say they will level Mecca if one more missle is fired. Brute force is all these people understand. If their holy city is threatened it might have better leverage IMO.
Notice who is being quiet in all this...the Saudis...and the Jordanians and the Egyptians..
I wonder if there has been a quiet understanding struck....to allow Israel to bring down Hamas and Hiz...a peg or two.

Why, is Israel fighting Saudi Arabia? I have pondered the 'bomb Mecca sentiment' and I disagree with the idea. You bomb Mecca and the entire muslim world goes terrorist and now you have to fight a billion people screaming 'for Mecca!', not hundreds of thousands. Besides, they will immortalize the event and simply erect a new moon-god alter for muslims to make a pilgramage to. Islam can't be defeated by vaporizing Mecca...
