On the Jewish calendar, today is the 17th of Tammuz, known as the anniversary of the destruction of the Temple (First and Second) as well as the expulsion of the Jews from Spain in 1492. I'd forgotten that until I saw another thread elsewhere. G-d bless and keep the Jewish people!
