Some names being bandied about:
The US Attorney in CT, Kevin O'Connor
The mayor of Danbury (about 75,000 people), Mark Boughton. Boughton is known for trying to get state police to arrest illegal immigrants for being in the country illegally. He's said that the high number of immigrants in Danbury have strained services, education, and led to overcrowded housing units. Most of the immigrants in Danbury are from Ecuador.
Time to go back to my original selection for the Republican Nominee...
Connecticut's US Attorney Kevin O'Connor
Its not too late, a very liberal Republican State Rep. just joined the race. We need a conservative or even a moderate-Conservative in there to make sure that the General Election doesn't end up with 4 Democrats (Lamont, Liberman, Ferruci (G), and Urban (Ultra-RINO))
1998 Connecticut 1st US House District OPEN SEAT
