I don't envy Rice's job right now. To execute the President's foreign policy. The White House made a statement, she expanded on it by calling for restraint. I presume that's what she was expected to do.

If it's a difficult job, maybe I can offer advice to her on what she should have done/said today.
1. Kept her mouth shut. Or.
2. Gave preemptive condolences to Israel's enemies. And/Or
3. Wished Israel luck and God's speed.
