FRmail me to be added or removed from this Judaic/pro-Israel/Russian Jewry ping list.

Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.

Yep, just saw Shep's interview with Ross on FNC. He certainly look worried. ....justifiably.

Molesting children would be my guess.

"Israel has issued the Tzav 8, or Order 8, general call up of Reservists. That means that we and they have shared intelligence that the Iranians and the Syrians were about to begin a general terrorist offensive. Now there is a rumor on an Israeli blog that Olmert is going to pull a big surprise and declare war on Hezboallah and Hamas tonight. But the big move is the Order 8-that has huge meaning in Israeli society. Isreal has been moved to a war footing."

I thought it was just a limited call up of one (1) division of reservist. Does this "Order-8" mean a general call up of all reservist? I did hear about Olmert making some announcement, has he made it yet? I hope Olmert has the stones to do what needs to be done. Keep us updated on the goings on over there as you seem to have an inside scoop, thanks

It'll be interesting to see if Syria has the guts to send up some MiGs (considering the 80-0 shutout by the IAF last time they did so. ...in '82).

I have to tell you...I have watched Ross on Fox for years...and I can't remember him being so willing to basically call for an all out war in the Middle East..

I have always thought of him as being very, very hesitant to even admit it when Israel has had a reason to fight back against the Palestinians...I guess that is why I posted what he was saying..

Damascus no longer is a city. (Isaiah 17:1) IDF bombs Syria back to the stone age.

Dear Israel,

Mazel Tov, God bless, godspeed, drive those tanks like you're at the Indy 500 and go after them like King David after the biblical Philistines!

Good. But falls a bit short of what we'd all like to see: The Bekka Valley carpet bombed, end to end, with MOABs, and then filled to the brim with nerve gas.

Tony said the White House also holds Syria AND Iran repsonsible for this mess...

This is getting pretty intense.

God BLESS our friend, Israel.

When Dennis Ross speaks I listen. He seems to have a pretty good handle on the Middle East. If this turns into a Regional conflict, ala 48', 67', 73' there's no telling how this ends. Remember 73' when Israel purportedly loaded nucs on their bombers and the USSR also threatened to intervene. And with all that's going on in Asia right now (India/Pakistan, India train bombings, NK issue, China-Taiwan) and all the other stuff in the Middle East (Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan). I beginning to wish we hadn't dismantled our civil defense network

Why not urge ALL parties, not just Israel?!

"It may be more than a terrorist offensive. I wonder if there is intel about any National Military troop movements on the part of Syria or Leb that is prompting the general callup."

good point, things could get ugly fast

Reminds me of bombing footage back in 1991 of an Iraqi truck driving through the crosshairs of an U.S. warplane moments before a bomb blew up a bridge. I remember the Pentagon/CENTCOM briefer showing the video and saying; "right through the crosshairs ... and in his rearview mirror ..."
