So now the administration isn't just refusing to enforce existing immigration law and protect the border but they are actively subverting both by supporting La Raza financially.
If the dems were doing this you wouldn't be able to think straight for all the howling that would be going on from the GOP.
This is disgraceful.

If they were all arab or soviets, it would be obvious that they have infiltrated our country with the intent of overthrowing our government and society and either killing or deporting all of US! Because they look like millions of other americans in the Southwest and because nobody in Washington has any idea of what is put in spanish language TV or radio, their open campaign to reconquer the US for Mexico (which they believed is the Aztlan Empire pre-Spaniards) goes on with our tacit approval and occasional funding.

Disgraceful? Getting awefully close to that whole "aid and comfort" thing is how I'd term it.

I meant that the fact that members of the GOP aren't going nuts over this and screaming from rooftops is disgraceful.
With respect to the administration I would agree with you.

When I heard of the first of these schools, located in the Los Angeles area, I was disgusted. Now I'm just resigned to the fact that this nation is finished.
If it has come to the place where we are going to finance racist separatists, then the nation our founding fathers set up for us, no longer exists.
What the hell are our leaders thinking?

I was disgusted. Now I'm just resigned to the fact that this nation is finished. It's hard not to be, isn't it.
But you never know what could happen.
If we actually taught the principles we were founded on to the youth -- immigrant kids or native born -- it could turn around quick. But the liberals who were not and are not immigrants are the ones who have done this.
It is not the immigrant's fault.

But did you know the Bush administration has forked over millions of federal tax dollars directly to The Race? Ummmm....doesn't Congress fork over the money?

did you know the Bush administration has forked over millions of federal tax dollars directly to The Race? Nope, I didn't. Not surprising, though. The U.S. gov't giving taxpayer dollars directly to our enemies is common practice.

We've got way too may so-called "FReepers" fighting conservatives and promoting liberal garbage like La Raza here. The Republican Party has lost its moorings, the United States of America has forgotten its heritage, and Free Republic has jettisoned its original conservative agenda and fallen into "mission creep". Not a good time for conservatives. I go between just becoming resigned to these facts or standing up and fighting for the cause.

What the hell are our leaders thinking? They're thinking about how to stay in power as long as possible and how to make boatloads of cash while they're there. All other considerations (like upholding their oaths of office) are secondary. ....at best.

Sad as it appears, I am beginning to think we must stand-down on the next election and let the country fall to the RATs. Then, we would have to prepare ourselves to raise it from the ashes. There is no pride to grit our teeth and vote for traitors; regardless of the clothes they wear.
My current hope is that the terrorists take out more traitors than us, so we can gain the advantage.

No successful strategy starts with a tactical loss. I totally understand the emotion behind it but while we both want the country to have to suffer for its inaction, the lesson we would want the rest of the country to learn from its suffering would not end up being the right one. The only answer is to work harder and smarter to turn things in the right direction.
