<< ... (former KGB colonel) ... Putin said Wednesday part of the blame for the killing of five Russian diplomats in Iraq in June lay with coalition forces, including the United States.

Well, so much for the warm, friendly meeting he will have with (President) Bush in the next week or so. >>

And for the NBC (And every other of the Alphabet drive-by "news") gangsters, who never challenge a single one of and so proudly propagandize and promulgate every one of our enemies' lies.

May every one of the subversive dumb bastards be the very first to Hell. And forever burn the brightest and the best.

BUMPping

A bad hunting shot on the part of the Russian President after so much has been exposed on his oil for food scandal with Saddam.

"...the "see into his soul" comment was a psych game"
It was an oxymoron at best. Kegebuns* do not have souls.
* - a minor play of words here. Besides the meaning of "belonging to", the ending has an independent unprintable meaning. Could be figuratively translated as "KGB-MoFers".

You couldn't be more wrong. After Blair, Putin was the best friend W had.

It appears to me that pushing NATO into what was the USSR is a hangover Clinton policy, it may be our downfall. Not to mention the damage done siding with the Islamist headchoppers in the Balkans.

Putin to his credit takes on the MSM and associated neocons. Sets a good example if we have the guts to prosecute the NYTs, and associated neocons I might add .

Putin's Russia is more atuned to the dangers of Islamists intentions than any other country. They were indispensible in the defeat of the Taliban in Afghanistan, by over many years supporting the Northern Alliance.

W claims Putin as a friend, let's keep it that way.

Putin tried to stop us in Iraq, sells weapons to N. Korea and Iran, and ignores the WOT whenever convient. That is NOT a friend.

Putin tried to stop us in Iraq..

So did France and Germany, and Pat Buchanan! At least they don't support the terrorists as does the Democratic Party and the NYTs.

..sells weapons to N. Korea and Iran... Lots of countries DID. They gave up on NK long long ago. Clinton and company did all the 'reactor' enabling.

So, when Islamics kill Russians, it's:

Bush's Fault.

Damn. Putin spending too much time at DU.

Putin sold weapons to Saddam in Iraq. He also sells weapons to Iran and North Korea. There have been allegations that the Russians have even given weapons to the Taliban.

"Putin said: "If the United States and its allies assumed responsibility for Iraq when they decided to deploy their troops there, then of course, they are also responsible for the security of noncombatants, especially the security of the diplomatic corps."

I'd bet my next paycheck that IF the US said to the Russians - "Ok, please provide us with a list of all of your diplomats, where they go during the day, where they live, what they are engaged in, etc., and we will escort them and provide security for them" the answer from the Russians will be, "No - you're restricting our freedom as diplomats."

They can't have this both ways. Either they subordinate themselves to the coalition forces, or they shut up when their guys get killed. They've misjudged their influence (AGAIN) with islamofascists. Primakov is obviously lurking in the shadows calling the shots. Putin needs to pull his head out vis-a-vis the ME. Following failed policies of the Soviets will further weaken them.

Come on - tell us the truth - how much $$$$$ did you lose from your "internet" bride? That's a bit too much vitriol for you just to be a casual observer. Obviously you got taken by some guy named Vlad pretending to be Natasha. Such are the perils on the world wide web bride hunt.

"... Communists blame America for everything wrong in the world."

If that's the case, the whole friggin' world is "Communist" per your definition AND half of our country to boot.

Putin is NOT a Communist. He's more of a "Tsarist," i.e., wants the Empire that the Tsars knew - wants the border lands friendly or neutral and Russia to have a role as one of the "polls" in a multipolar world.

Thunder, you'll never defeat your "enemy" if you misidentify their beliefs, their desires, and their strengths and weaknesses.

You guys continue to fall into the trap that the Russians are setting pre-G-8 summit. You're like lemmings. Watch the timing and watch what they are saying. They don't even believe their own rhetoric, but they're trying to change the topics that will be on the minds of the public and press (Energy policy, Freedom of the Press, Democracy), by getting everyone spun up about this topic, and the Afghan War, etc. You've all fell for it.
