We can take Syria while Israel takes Lebanon and the Palis.

We should take out and occupy Syria if only to show the world where Saddam sent his WMDs before our forces could catch up to them. I remember seeing aerial camera footage of very long Iraqi truck convoys headed from Baghdad to the Syrian border in the opening days of the war. Those hundreds of heavy military trucks weren't hauling Purina camel chow.

Since the Israel's have long considered Syria shelters Hamas leaders and supplies the money and material for the attacks on Israel, they should role right through Lebanon and conduct an "excursion" into Syria. This should provoke a response from Syria and hopefully suck in the Iranians. That should provide enough of an excuse for the US to intervene and join the Israelis in taking out both regime's.
The US would stay only long enough to destroy the Iranian nuclear facilities and then withdraw and let the Iranian's sort out the mess.
