They elect an outright terrorist organization, Hamas, as their government and use this new autonomy as a base to launch attacks against Israel. As I heard Victor Davis Hansen say last night, they want cell phones, the internet, dialysis, and MRIs, but they cannot get past their hatred of the Jews, and will not accept freedom of speech, gender equity, and a host of other freedoms that we take for granted. Exactly. But the technology you mention that does exist will eventually provide fair information to that people and they will wake up to the fact that other people in the world have nice lives and they can have it too if they truly choose freedom and personal accountability over dying for allah.
