I've taken that route myself. Thank God your friends and family are OK.
I keep hoping that with NY, London, Spain, Beslan, and now Mumbai we might pass a critical threshold when the world as a whole wakes up and unites against this savagery. Judging from the press, I sadly don't think we're there yet. What will it take?

I cant understand the reason behind this wait,We need to carry out pre emptive on terror factories operating in porkistan. If it comes to war then so be it ,we will have the doctrine of pre emption to justify.

Gengis..Good to hear that you and your family are safe.
Unfortunately, my co-worker and good friend's cousin died in the Mahim station blast. He was going back home to a wife and a 2 year old kid.
I do not expect any retaliation from the spineless Congress government either.

I am so sorry for that.Prayers for their families.

Thats very sad news. Sorry to hear about your friend. This is not something we should be taking in our stride, we need to hit back. We have had enough of this nonsense.

" I seriously doubt India can win this war on terror. This current pacifist government doesn't have spine to protect her people. I am not sure we are in a position to fight this war. Not with this spineless government in power.I am now only waiting to see how we would respond to this but I fear...........we have voted the wrong ones to power."
We say the same about "paleo-cons" (the Euro-identity fascists who would risk all to see Israel destroyed) and people with certain business relations (importers, for one) in our own government. They push from behind the scenes to stop our President from going to the main sources of the War on Terror, and he cannot rid our government of them all fast enough.
GK, as you know, several Islamist national governments are collaborating in efforts to conquer the world. We must start by destroying the most powerful and stubborn of those decidedly antagonistic governments (after destroying each of their military forces) and work our way down to the weakest. But we must eventually subdue them all. We're not ignoring those closest and most visible to India, but we (India's advisors and forces increasingly included) are slowly cutting off their foreign support and surrounding them.
I do hope that we in the USA find a suitable replacement for our President (who is in his last allowed term) in 2008--not a Democrat or pacifist, fascist "paleo-con."
I'll be watching closely for results of India's investigation. It might be interesting as to what groups and individuals were involved in the terrorism there. We in the USA have found that Islamo-fascist groups usually opposed to one another are cooperating in terrorism against us (even Shiites with Sunnis, at times).

BTW, I would also first suspect the terrorists who want to extort Kashmir from India. But it is also likely that there are some communications between them and Al Qaeda. Pakistani Islamists do not want India to begin surrounding them and cutting off those lines of communication (with Afghanistan being the first step--recently more publicized).
Sooner or later, self-described pacifists (cowardly traitors) in several of our countries will awaken to their choice for survival. Until then, the better leaders in some of our countries must plan and position forces for the War on Terror wisely.
