Today it's a badge of honor among the illliterati, so called journalists, to claim they are "above" nationalism and indeed are citizens of the world in the purity of their journalistic philosophy. The truth, they claim, transcends national borders. *Gagging as I speak*. Revealing national secrets? Disseminating our war plans? What's next for the New York Times, revealing troop movements?
