hmm, i checked in just to make sure "Blind cricket" was some type of cricket played by folks who can see but had to put the whatsit over the whosit in some special manner. Like a Blind ante in poker ;)

Looks like it's the real deal though. Highly impressive.

I had the same worries....not knowing anything about cricket I also checked around to be sure...in fact, it's directly stated in this sentence from the latter part of the posted Gleaner article:

Guyana's Oliver Kerr and Granville Carter, of Barbados, also picked up awards for the B1 category of totally blind players.

It makes me feel pretty humble about some of the things that I may have trouble doing.
