I find this almost imposible to believe. Drinking on duty, abandoning their post, and then doing this within 200 yards of their own checkpoint that they had abandoned.

However, if it is proven that they in fact did it, then they should be executed.

Doesn't look too good for Mr. Green. Iraqis knew of the alleged rape/murder long before it was in the news here.
