Cindy Sheehan, peace mom, mother to the world and a woman who calls terrorists freedom fighters, is not only starving for attention, she's starving for protein (insert tasteless joke here.)
Writing in her blog from Venice, Italy, Sheehan bemoans the hardship of trying to maintain the "troops home fast" she started on July 4 in front of the White House while traveling around the world:
I find traveling out of the country very challenging being on a fast. When I was on a layover in Madrid on my way to Venice, Italy yesterday, the closest thing I could find to a smoothie to get a little protein was a coffee with vanilla ice cream in it. Traveling for 22 hours is very taxing under normal circumstances--but then again, when have we had normal circumstances since the 2000 and 2004 successful coup attempts that have brought BushCo into power?
Smoothies, coffee and ice cream. Sounds more like a diet than a fast.
Ewwww that pic, orca fat, belly hanging down to her knees. Dayum
Not sure what to say. I know Detroit was voted the second fattest city in the US, she must be from the First!!
(yes, I checked the preview box without previewing)
ummm hmmm, evidence of risk taking behavior! (said with a German accent)
This really is the limit. This woman has eaten better than I have all week.
10 FATTEST:
1. Chicago
2. Las Vegas
3. Los Angeles
4. Dallas
5. Houston
6. Memphis
7. Long Beach, Calif.
8. El Paso
9. Kansas City, Mo.
10. Mesa, Ariz.
Detroit is #15 on the list, down from #3 last year.
Guess we are losing weight, or other cities are gaining. They must be in Red States!!!
That reminds me, while I off work this week, maybe should drive up to Tony's in Birch Run.
A 1 pound BLT, should put the Detroit Metro area back in the top ten!!!
nicht das Haarbürste!
Does that mean a pureed steak doesn't count, as long as she drinks it without chewing? Is so, every person with their broken jaw wired is "fasting", no matter how much Ensure they swig through the straw.
...but useful to the Left? ...Wouldn't be the first, but I'd bet that she is getting tiresome by now, even to them.
nicht das Haarbürste!
Night of the what????
That ain't no woman and that ain't no naval. This poor guy is the poster boy for "too much of a good thing is...well..too much."
When is a fast not a fast? When done by a liberal, of course. It's a Kerry-esque quote. I fasted before I didn't fast.
Mama Hen Sheehan says keeping up a fast is hard when travelling. Why? It's not like she has to go looking for places to eat.
Who knows, maybe the dearth of smoothies in Italy will make her realize how great America really is. It's not every corner that has a Jamba Juice or Starbucks on every corner, after all.
This was just picked up by Michelle Malkin at her excellent blog.
Remember Cindy Sheehan's "hunger strike?" Remember I asked whether she would last longer than Saddam Hussein?
Well...
Kristinn Taylor at F/R points to Cindy's latest blog entry on her, uh, progress (also posted at the Crawford Peace House site):

I am here for a huge youth festival which includes many elements of social justice and peace work. It is beautiful and the air feels different from other places that I have travelled. It is strangely soft and gentle as is the natural light. However, there is not a Jamba Juice on every corner, so blended juice drinks with protein powder are impossible to find.
Smoothies. Coffee. Vanilla Ice Cream. How much weight does she plan on gaining during this deprivation campaign?

Thanks. I'd love to be a fly on the wall as Cindy's handlers try to figure out how to dig her out of this PR fiasco.
If she's admitting to that much,it begs the question of what is she really eating/drinking? 'Cause I don't believe that lying hag for a minute.
