Those fiscal or libertarian conservatives who don't care about the right to life should understand that their own causes have no chance at all if they don't work with the social and religious conservatives on these basic issues.
I'm a libertarian conservative and I can't understand the stiff arm social conservatives gave to what I believe are vital issues.
What happened to vouchers...tax reform...tort reform..entitlement reform...spending cuts...the principle of a limited government ...for you guys it's all abortion or gay stuff all the time. With this crew we never had a chance and never will.
It seems that until you get everything you want our concerns aren't worth spit. No wonder there is a groundswell for Gulliani.

I support spending cuts, tax cuts, tort reform, immigration enforcement, private property rights, and so on. As far as I know, so do most of the other pro-lifers in the forum.
The libertarians, on the other hand, seem to go bananas whenever the issues of abortion or euthanasia crop up.
You can't enjoy your rights to liberty and the pursuit of happiness if somebody kills you.

Isn't it obvious? The religious right are not interested in that stuff... they are only interested in establishing their radical theocracy on the rest of us in the name of a "Christian Nation". They are not true conservatives. They are socialists of a much more frightening nature.

But you're not alone, your type of pro abortion libertarian is legion. Of course there are libertarians who understand that the right to life is the preeminent right on the road to liberty, you're just not one of them.
