Obviously if one has a problem with what is, they must of necessity be in favor of some alternative condition otherwise there would be no gripe.

Ah. The quote about "a financial burden for this largess". We would do well to move beyond "a good start" and take on the hard work of making it happen. First we decided what we're fixing first --maybe we can take on the "Coming Crisis in our Democracy" that DeMint warned us about in 2001.
