I doubt it. I lived there for two years and the folks are pretty conservative.

I was born and raised there and left on my 18th birthday, then came back for a couple years before escaping again. The place is as liberal as they come.

If you hang out at the bars with the Coe College folks, you would be correct.

I used to tutor the local kids and found most of the parents to be conservative.

I live right smack in the middle of flyover country and have driven through Iowa a number of times. It is hard to understand how Iowa can be a Blue State.
