I lived on 48th between 8th and Broadway during the Guliani years and it was a great place to live.

I spent nearly every Saturday afternoon my senior year in highschool on that block, on "Music Row."

Manny's, "Smash," "We Buy," Stuyvesant, the list of music stores goes on...

All that stuff is actually on the east side of Broadway... I lived about 40 yards west of Broadway.
