No way is the greatest sport ever invented "boring"...Baseball is a chessmatch, only with more strategy (whereas football is more like checkers). One mistake by a pitcher can cost a game...i.e. should I throw a curve, slider, fastball, spitfinger, changeup, screwball, palmball...? The batter has to anticipate the pitch (and the last "best one" to do it (Ted Williams) could only do it 40 percent of the time.

If I hear the old "baseball is a chessmatch" BS once more I will barf. First, it's not that complicated, and second, have you ever watched a chessmatch? It makes soccer look exciting.
