On the ground, today, Iraq is an unstable & dangerous place, and there is little doubt in my mind that these insurgents would export their violent way of life to western countries at a far accelerated rate were it not for a suppressive force at the source. Therefore "immediate withdrawal" as these activists are requesting, would be premature and detrimental."
