Michael Moore is getting set to add to his 300 pounds after waiting the day out. Time for dinner!

No, they are only fasting in 8 hour shifts, then they turn it over to anothr team.
In other words, they are eating 3 meals a day.
I've been fasting like this for years.

In a first for the music industry, two feuding gangsta rappers died this morning before they could shoot each other. 2Frail 2Fire was felled by a massive heart attack as he attempted to lift his LadySmith 60LS. Ol' Cadaverous Bastard expired from malnutrition a few seconds later while enjoying a derogatory gloat about the ever-bonier butts of 2Frail 2Fire's ho's and bitches. My God how does he do it. Quick, someone make Mr. Steyn a citizen of this country, STAT!

I eat one meal a day. I fast better than a lot of wimpy liberals do. I could easily forgo that if I wanted to. The question is whether our Hollywood dilettantes will give up their seven course gourmet meals to make a real change in the state of the world.

I got a chuckle when FNC did a story about Cindy Sheehan fasting while showing a video of her stuffing her face...
The don't even know how foolish they look.

Oh puhleeeeeze, now that's funny!

"Penn, Sarandon, novelist Alice Walker and actor Danny Glover will join a 'rolling' fast, a relay in which 2,700 activists pledge to refuse food for at least 24 hours, and then hand over to a comrade." Like my "rolling" workout plan:
10 lbs x 1 rep x 1,000 days = HUGE muscles!!!
To: goldstategop
What a damn stupid, insulting publicity stunt this is. I thought Susan Sarandon was still campaigning to eliminate freedom of speech for anyone who did not worship her
causes. I guess she's moved on to bigger and stupider things. A rolling fast. What a bunch of overpaid and uninformed slacker - losers.
I remember a typical day at William Paterson College, my friend Steve and I were working on a project for the school. A liberal student happened by and wanted to know if we would make a video for him. He wanted to help the homeless. What did he want to do?
"We're going to have a protest on the mall to raise awareness for the homeless."
The mall being right outside the student pub . . .
"You want us to videotape you protesting to help the homeless?"
The guy light up. "Yeah, we'll show the world that the homeless need help. We'll make sure they get help."
At this time, Steve was a volunteer firefighter and I was a volunteer EMT. We were both in our early twenties.
"Well, you know there's a homeless shelter right down the road in Paterson. If you really want to help the homeless, you could go there and feed them. They're always begging for volunteers."
"Oh, I can't do that." His tone of voice and the facial expression were obvious, as in, 'I'm not going anywhere near those filthy #######.'
His comment was, "I can't do that. This is everybody's problem. I have to get everybody (else) to help."
"We're busy."
Susan and Alec, I hope you enjoy your moronic left wing photo op for your own publicity and (insert cause name here). You claim you're brave because your actions mean that you will never get work again. I hope that's true, then maybe I could muster a millisecond of respect for you.

Very funny piece! The thing is, all these so called stars do is make me avoid anything they are involved in. If we all do that, perhaps the starving and going without food will be for real.

"Absent that, it's hard to see what a "rolling fast" does except confirm the vague suspicion one or two Americans may harbor that politically active celebrities are a lot of vain dilettantes unwilling to discombobulate their pampered lifestyles."
And confirm the confirmed suspicion that most celebrities are Socialists and very, very generous with other people's money. Case in point: the privately owned farm in LA that had been invaded and used illegally and that which Darryl Hannah sat in a tree to prevent being used by the legal owner how he saw fit. None of them coughed up a single dime from their multiple millions of dollars they have to buy the land from the owner.

Personally, if celebrities have to "put their bodies on the line for peace," I'd much rather see them bulk up. How about if Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow promise to put on 20 pounds for every month Bush refuses to end his illegal war?
