That's not true, you know. Flying is safer because if you stand up on my plane and announce I hijack, I will kill you. Or the guy behind me will, but in either case, there will be no hijack.

The TSA is window dressing, and accomplishes nothing.

Exactly right. I fly a lot on business and the rules changed on 9/11. I read about an incident last week on a flight into Miami, some fool rushed the cockpit just before landing. Multiple passengers prevented him from reaching the door and "subdued" him.
