One thing I noticed in my experience is that the women in my university (UW-Madison) were much more likely to do everything they were asked of, study the material, and buy whatever line the professor was feeding them. Men were much more likely to analyze what was being said, determine if it was total BS or not, and study accordingly. I think alot of women who graduate summa cum laude without actually thinking about what they were being taught would fare much worse on a standardized test then alot of free thinking men with 3.0 GPAs.

Just to add to that. I've seem some 3rd year college girls BAWL after getting a C on an economics test. Talk about obsession. As if that C has a real bearing on your future or value as a person.
