Station hasn’t made up mind on ad (Liberal Censorship)

Station hasn’t made up mind on ad It turns out WDJT has not pulled ads by a group critical of Gov. Jim Doyle after all, despite claims by Doyle's campaign earlier today.

But the Milwaukee TV station may decide to spike the ad by the end of the day, station General Manager Jim Hall said this afternoon.

The ad by the Coalition for America's Families started running yesterday, but was not scheduled to run today, Hall said. It is tentatively scheduled to run over the weekend, but the station is reviewing whether it will in fact run them, he said.

Asked about Doyle's press release, Hall said: "Talk about issue ads being misleading! I don't think they did it maliciously, but they just didn't have the facts."

Anson Kaye, communications director for the Doyle campaign, said the campaign's attorneys had a conversation with the station this morning and were told the ad was being taken down.

"There was a clear conversation between our attorneys and the station," Kaye said. "I'm not sure what happened since then, but this ad should be pulled because it's a fraud."

Meanwhile, Doyle challenger U.S. Rep. Mark Green (R-Green Bay) put out a fact sheet criticizing a new radio ad by the Greater Wisconsin Committee.

More liberal censorship. Fits in with nationwide attacks on Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh. Nothing contradicting the liberal party line will soon be permissible. High power attorneys challange every add attacking WI Governor "Diamond" Jim Doyle.

Time for the GOP to take back Wisconsin from the socialist tyrants on the left. Ping for Minnesota also.

I've seen it at least four times including on Fox news over local Time Warner Cable Friday night.
