I'm having flashbacks to my younger self. I remember very vividly saying the exact same thing. "Communism didn't work because they just didn't do it right." Dear lord. I was such an idiot.

This makes sense - since, according this worldview, there is no God, all human value and dignity must be derived from man. Therefore, abortion is forced on us for many of the same reasons some would change our Pledge of Allegience or remove longstanding war memorial crosses. After all, we're just an accident... right?

Israel is, in many ways, like a "little America" - both the good and the bad.

Another thought that comes to mind... What of the "useless eaters" of our society? Those who have no value to anyone - the downtrodden, the homeless, the invalids, the Terri Schiavo's of the world?

The Christian Worldview: "I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me." (Matthew 25:42-45)

Of course... The homeless can vote, so I guess they DO carry some value (babies cannot).
