Five soldiers charged in Iraq rape-murder

Pretty quiet on this thread, after all the angry "Our boys would never do such a thing!" rhetoric we heard on FR over the last week.

Well, let me be one of the first to speak up then. IF these soldiers are tried and found guilty, they deserve their punishment, America does not condone behavior as charged

. BUT they have not been found guilty yet and as such are still presumed innocent. We owe them at least that much, wouldn't you say?

And 5 out of how many in theater now....about 150,000 give or take. Oh, if we could have those stats in civilian life...

You are correct, if only the civilians here in our country, had that low record for murders and rapes.. I was listening to Drudge, and he was saying something like 83 murders a day and a big amount of rapes daily... if the MSM would report this over and over and over again.. If our troops are guilty punish them, but lets presume they are innocent until proven guilty. I have heard on the news nearly every day about this murder and rape allegation, I thought it was a new case every day, however it is the MSM bashing our troops, by reporting this same incident every hr on the hr
