Not Los Alamos, just the Trinity Site where the 1st bomb was tested. Then casually mention how this bomb was the prototype for the bombs we used on Japan 2xs. Mention something about how we are still the only nation that actually has used Nukes in war.
I just realized that no one even bothered to comment about Juan Williams' contribution to the panel this week. It was too lame to waste keyboard strokes on.
Kim has money. No matter how dirt poor and backwards all nations have some money. If nothing else he has resources he can sell. Weapons etc on the underground markets. I don't doubt even some of the more stupid nations like Norway and Sweaden give him hand outs.
that spinning plates analogy is spot on!!!
Sounds like a great plan for the local tours day!!!
Great link, YaYa....
I also wonder why this blogger and others haven't included Jimmah Carter on their list of people that need to be held accountable...
He mentioned Clinton and Richardson..(Richardson I understand because he was the main subject of this blog)..and even though it was spelled out that Jimmah was the "paper waver"...no one seems to be calling for HIS explanation...wonder why.
A must share moment -
I am watching a PBS program called "Walking the Bible." The onair narrator has the exact voice of Geraldo Rivera. He is about 25 years younger without a mustache. But it is really is unnerving.
I'm sorry .. but some in Congress need to grow they hell up
It may have been the point of the exercize to expose these people, and would therefore be the reason Goss is gone. In the Tom Clancy "Jack Ryan" books (which I'm re-reading now) they call something like this a "canary trap." Leak something specific to a bunch of people, but make each version a little different. Whichever version turns up via a leak tells you who the leaker is.
Notice that Hoekstra would not go any further with any negative information when pressed. This particular leak breaking this week may have been a warning shot across his bow, for whatever reason. What troubles me is that he's one of the folks who helped get the Iraq papers released so that folks like jveritas could work their magic, and he worked with Santorum on declassifying the info about the WMDs found since 2003. Who is working for us and who is working against us is a very complicated question.
This isn't tiddly winks, folks. There are layers within layers and forces and facts that we have to admit that we just don't have.
Just another example of the Democrats Culture of Hypocrisy.
Off topic. I know Schumer's connections were hooked up with Maddie's... can't find them; Searching.
Did you check out AJ today?

Again, from having started re-reading the Tom Clancy "Jack Ryan" books may I recommmend Sum Of All Fears for a good background on preparing a "physics package" for a nuke. Clancy explicitely messes up some of the details, but it gives a good grounding in the physics. It's not technically difficult, once it has been figured out. It just requires the right education and the right tools. Unfortunately much of that education and tooling is no more advanced than what a dispensing optician has at your mall optician.
Did you see the CQ take on Hoekstra, NYT?

Viva Italia! Yes!
#499, Thank you.
He was spectacular last week on Reliable Sources slapping down one of the two New York Times reporters behind the NSA and SWIFT stories. He also made the host and the other two liberals on the panel (fair and balanced, dontcha know?) look silly.
His blog has moved to the new Townhall.com, where I gather he is acting as a sort of managing editor. This could get interesting.
If I understand it correctly, fissionable material "disrupted" enough by a primary force, i.e. explosion, and another fissionable (Clancy mentioned Tritium) material being introduced at the exact right time, will cause the chain reaction. The trick is precise machining of a shaped charged and perfectly timed primary explosion in conjunction with the addition of, in this case tritium, to cause fission and or fusion. It is the timing and machining that is so difficult, but the basic premise is fairly straight forward..

Please stop by this thread and leave a message for some troops heading for Iraq
Another thing that used to bother me but doesn't now is the same old talking heads on the same sunday shows every week after week after week. But put it all in to perspective and it all makes sense. Just more chauffeurs for the drive-bys reporting for duty to the DNC.
